COMPLETED LARGE COMMERCIAL / DESTINATION PROJECT · DUBAI

Dubai Global Connect

Large public destinations need stone geometry that remains connected across long sightlines, multiple zones and phased work fronts.

We carried out the recorded marble and stone package for Dubai Global Connect with Al Mazroui Advanced Technology. The archive does not preserve the exact stone areas, so this case study focuses on large commercial delivery: primary-axis set-out, zone-to-zone continuity, durable public transitions, interface coordination, phased protection and long-view inspection so independently installed areas still read as one finished environment.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

We delivered the recorded Dubai Global Connect stone project with Al Mazroui Advanced Technology.

What we did on this project

We delivered the recorded Dubai Global Connect stone project with Al Mazroui Advanced Technology.

Large public projects expose alignment differently from compact interiors: a local joint or level can look acceptable close-up and still break the larger field when viewed along a long circulation path.

We therefore organize the project around major public references first, then connect every local zone back to the same visual system.

THE REAL DELIVERY CHALLENGE

Keep separately executed commercial zones visually connected when the final project is experienced as one large public environment.

02

Set the main public axes and transition references first, then require every phased work front to close back into them.

PROJECT DELIVERY CONTROLS

The controls that mattered for this specific project context.

Project-specific delivery controls, not a reconstructed BOQ.

01

Primary-axis set-out

Establish the long references organizing the stone field.

02

Zone continuity

Keep phased work tied to common joint and level logic.

03

High-traffic transitions

Strengthen thresholds and edges in public circulation.

04

Interface coordination

Control stone where it meets doors, glazing and fit-out systems.

05

Phased protection

Protect finished zones while adjacent work continues.

06

Long-view inspection

Judge the result from public sightlines, not installer distance.

HOW WE APPROACHED THE WORK

A project-specific execution sequence built around the actual project type.

The original historical method statement is not preserved; this sequence reflects practical delivery logic appropriate to the project record.

01

Set the main public references

Define axes and transitions.

02

Verify the active zone

Check real levels and interfaces.

03

Carry the reference locally

Keep joint logic connected.

04

Protect the finished zone

Prevent adjacent-work damage.

05

Inspect across zones

Review the project as one environment.

WHAT THIS PROJECT ADDS TO OUR EXPERIENCE

Large commercial stonework succeeds when separate work zones stop looking separate at handover.

EXPERIENCE WE CARRY FORWARD

What this completed project adds to our delivery experience.

01

Primary-axis thinking

Organizing local work around larger geometry.

02

Multi-zone continuity

03

Long-view inspection

Checking what users see over distance.

04

Phased protection

Preserving finished zones while work continues nearby.
